The Si Repel Mosquito finish by the Portuguese company Smart Inovation is non-toxic and biodegradable. It repels ticks, mosquitoes, flies, wasps and even lice, without harming them or any other insects or nature. The finish is based on the repellent IR3535, which is almost identical to naturally occurring beta alanine, and considered by the WHO and the EPA to be safe for humans, even babies. The repellent effect of the finish will endure at least 100 washes.
